WANTED: genuine B7 RS4 adaptive headlamps
WANTED: genuine B7 RS4 adaptive headlamps
As per title, mine have been through the 'clear corner' mod by the previous owner however the plastic lens seems to have been burnt or hazed from inside where the xenon beams through
I don't really want to mess about with opening them up again etc, and would rather out genuine replacements back in for her to be looking mint again

I'm after a pair of '07 lights too, to replace the '06 ones on the car (which have also been opened and sprayed black inside). I was planning on just getting them from TPS once I get home.

I've a link saved on my computer for the adaptive lights, I think they were 250-300 a corner. They aren't oem but I can dig out the link if that's still of interest to you both?
Re: WANTED: genuine B7 RS4 adaptive headlamps
Obviously youd have to check the part numbers but here you go.

I do seem to recall there being more options on that page, ub worth a look/check.

Re: WANTED: genuine B7 RS4 adaptive headlamps
You'll find it hard to get a second-hand pair close to the allparts price. They are OEM* i.e. they are manufactured by Magneti Marelli, who are the original equipment manufacturer for Audi. The only difference is that they won't have the Audi part number stamped on them.
One thing to be aware of though, is that since 2011 (or at least around that time) Magnetti Marelli use "permaseal" instead of a butyl based sealant in the headlamps. If you plan never to mod the inside of your headlamps that's probably a good thing as I think it fails less than butyl. But, if you're planning on modding them e.g painting the reflectors or something, then you won't be able to open them up without a lot of heartache and pain.

Re: WANTED: genuine B7 RS4 adaptive headlamps
I don't sorry, but I found them by searching the b7 threads, maybe you can find someone who has that way? Yeah that's right although it'd be worth cross referring to Tony's part number thread just to make sure.N11LS_J wrote:Ah good find, I'm assuming AFS is the adaptive version?gt2 wrote:Obviously youd have to check the part numbers but here you go.

Yep i've just had the AFS (adaptive) ones fitted on mine, they're all good and unbranded OEM lights...N11LS_J wrote:Ah good find, I'm assuming AFS is the adaptive version?gt2 wrote:Obviously youd have to check the part numbers but here you go.

The same as the ones on allparts site? (Just to double check before I order!)

Re: WANTED: genuine B7 RS4 adaptive headlamps
I bought a set from them few years ago (non-AFS) and was really impressed. Also supplied me a second hand pair of ballasts for very decent price and included 6 month warranty on the ballasts.
Stupid to pay Audi prices when they are exactly the same physical part just without the Audi part number Sticker.

Yep, I ordered from them... they're perfect and oem but without the badge...

Mine arrived today, the box was about twice the size I was expecting (and yes, I meant to order two).
