It's not the worst, but I wouldn't have chosen it if it were an option....

On a separate note, anyone know what that button is on the drivers door above the tweeter / beside the wing mirror?

Illusion from the angle the picture is taken at - the button is below the door grab handle and electric mirror switches - its down in the drivers door pocket

Boot release or one of the alarm deactivation buttons maybe?

Looks like a wrap rather than paint? Inside the door shut is white...

What's side assist ? Is that same as lane assist, as that button's on the stalk on mine

Side Assist monitors the driver's blind spot and flashes the LEDs on the door mirror when there's a car there. Lane Assist makes adjustments to the steering if you're about to stray out of your lane.

Yellow cars looks ok, not so keen on the wheels personally - up rated brakes too

Wheels look 21" and spotted the rear brakes werent wavey-davey type....they look cermic?

Difficult to tell. They're certainly not standard, although callipers look so
