VAG COM faults LAMBDA

Post by DuncS3 » Mon Feb 21, 2005 11:27 am

Hi,

Anyone had these error codes and can point to what it is?

2 Faults Found:
16519 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: Heating Circuit Malfunction
P0135 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17511 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Heating: B1 S1: Performance too Low
P1103 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

They were cleared and havent come back yet. Car had a new coolant bottle fitted under warranty a few weeks back as the low coolant light came on (which was a known fault with the bottle sensor apparently) - I didnt check the codes after that was done...

Hi Dunc, ive had these errors on mine too, been cleared a few times but are more consistant now. My engine light is on too as is probably yours. The offender is the pre-cat lamda sensor.

I cleared it and it hasnt come back yet - no ECL has shown up, but I beleive that happens when the fault has shown up more than 3 times?

So what are you going to do?

I posted this on the TT-Forum and got some good feedback which is worth a read...
