Ok then I've had the RS4 for a month or so and have generated a couple of daft questions.
1 - How do you prevent the music from automatically coming on each time you start the car? They only way I can stop the music automatically starting (or the radio if I'm on that setting) is to keep the MMI looking at the jukebox with nothing downloaded on it.
2 - Does anyone else find their right foot catches both the accelerator and the brake when you move from the brake back on to the power? The peddles seem to have a rubber surround that I keep getting my foot caught on. I kind of expect it now, but it is a little disconcerting at times, so is it possible to remove the rubber surround or do something else about it
Thanks
Couple of daft questions
Re: Couple of daft questions
Ok, No.1 - Good question. That drives me nuts! Especially when I turn the radio off & it just comes back on again 3-4 seconds later!!!
No.2 - I don't have that problem, but then I don't wear flippers when I drive. Maybe take them off?

It's all torque talk.

1- if you press and hold down the volume button on the centre consul the radio will go off and should not come on when you next start up,to turn back on repeat first bit

2- dont have a prob myself and i have size 13 steel toe boots on when i drive, try lifting your foot up and across instead of going straight across (mind you the gas pedal is quite high)

Re: Couple of daft questions
1. Yes, very annoying.
2. The only problem I have with the pedals is the right one has delivered 18mpg for the last 7000 miles. It must be broken.

Re: Couple of daft questions
1. Press Media button. Select Source (top-right). Scroll down to "Not connected" and select it. Sorted ...
Of course, if you do end up using the radio or media player at any point, you would need to redo the above in order to keep it off next time you restart the car.
I don't know why modern cars quite happily remember the last volume setting except if it is zero or mute.

Re: Couple of daft questions
Thanks for the responses. I've a couple of things to go try out..
Interesting that the gas pedal is higher in some.. I'm convinced it's lower in mine.
Oh well
Thanks again guys
