Regarding the possibility of a red interior option, red is not available on the RS7 in Germany but it is an option on the S6 and RS6, so my fingers are crossed. Strange that the RS7 doesn't get it.

So another week rolls by and the silence is deafening. Last week there appeared to be a plan. This week there's been SFA.

Anyone heard anymore?

Exactly my thoughts. I tweeted AudiUK asking if they were going to be updating dealers with pricing and specification this week as per the advice to dealers last week. The reply was hardly impressive:
Hi Chris, we can’t confirm yet, but details will be available shortly. We’ll let everyone know as soon as we have more info!
Really endearing stuff.

Will try and pop into the dealers tomorrow and see if they can get any answers. I won't be holding my breath.

Why release a statement to dealers advising that specification and pricing will be available this week, and then do jack all?

Fook knows. But it is symptomatic of this entire fiasco.

Phoned my dealer today, left a message. My threshold will finally expire on Tuesday. There's been a lot of talk and insufficient action.

Doodlebug I know mate first time I've ever did this but was beyond a joke. The dealer wasn't any help at all and added to the end of it. Worst thing is was so happy and all ready for new one gave my C6 in July if I knew this would have happened I would have never got rid of that. I don't want anything else tbh but if I was really pushed and no RS maybe a AMG but that's a different story. Anyways wish u doodlebug and the rest of you's luck with yours and hope you get some answers soon. Apart from some glum faces they must have known its a hard situation for me as they didn't even try to convince me.

When Audi UK contacted me about my order I told them they should be patrolling this forum, as there are too many, (to use Audis words here) "Flagship" customers being pissed about.
Don't blame the decision Doodlebug. Plenty of other producers who actually want to supply a car, rather than those sitting and waiting while Audi play their game.

Despite what I have been told, I am still awaiting wk 38 to arrive and get a call staring with. "erm....sorry to let you know but the production has not started yet" followed by we have no idea.

As has been muted elsewhere is the issue a Audi Germany and Audi UK communication issue?

Time will tell.

It's Audi UK and/or Audi AG. It's not the dealer network.

I've dropped Mr Konsbruck a note.

Hope you get a good answer from him and swiftly. Without the info makes the sales teams look a little daft too just blabbering utter rubbish and that goes for most of the audi sales team and have spoke to 3 dealers. The simplest thing they cannot even get right is a call back yeah ill call you 1pm sir week later usually still nothing. And they all seem to lure you in ill do this if i was sorting this out i could have done this then when you do say do something they pi** their pants and start the whole mumbling game again. It's the whole situation all the things add up and create one big cock up ahh well doodlebug hope they seriously give a answer and something that we already havent heard. Also for those sepang lads theres a nice car just come up on audi used no pics yet brand new sent them a message myself :thumb: .

Kings Lynn have been excellent in fairness. I may yet be in an RS6 next week, to tide me over.

Bedford? Spec looked a bit basic.

Dunno yet, that's Monday's debate. I'll take anything not in pink or purple!

As long as the car is available to order this month and still subject to the same PCP deals etc as before (as per the update to dealers), then I'll be happy enough. I can swallow some increase in price, as it would be getting matrix led and the slightly updated nav. Depends how they mix and match the options into packs (if they follow that route) as to whether I can get same as my original spec order, or whether I have to go beyond it.
