Quality 19" Bridgestone Winter Tyres

Post by DaveB1970 » Thu Sep 11, 2014 9:32 pm

Friend of mine has just returned from a secondment in Geneva, he had these tyres fitted to his Datsun....sorry Nissan 370GT, this was rear wheel drive only and evidently using these tyres was like driving in the summer even when on deep snow. The last pic shows the 370 3000 metres at courcheval aitiport on these very tyres

They've done 2000 miles max, they're a genuine winter tyre.

Evidently there's legislation in Switzerland, your tyre shop is obliged to remove and refit these come the winter and provide a a condition report on removal, the report is available and shows 8mm on all four tyres, they then get bagged until, next year and you pay them £30 odd quid for the privilege!

Anyway this isn't ebay tat

Details are

Bridgestone Blizzak 25 275/35/19 96V x 2
Bridgestone Blizzak 25 245/40/19 96V x 2

I'll let the pics do them justice, these were £400 a corner to buy, no doubt everybody has a favourite tyre supplier who can do them cheaper, so the invitation is there to make an offer.

The asking price is £795.

There a good chance you'll get many winters out of these without the hassle of 18s

get in touch via PM with any questions, located Lytham, Lancs. Could maybe arrange to have them shipped at a purchasers expense

245/275 staggered fitment is a tad useless on here but I guess there could be some members running Beemers etc.

GLWS.

They should fit a few different BM's and I'm also sure those were the tyre size set up on my old Aston Vantage.
The PH forum section of Aston is quite a busy section, if you can survive the flaming for putting up a for sale post in the forum section. You should be able to place a free ad in the Aston parts section though, which may get you a result.

Good luck
