I’m posting this on behalf of a neighbour who in the early hours of this morning had two of their wheels stolen off their RS6 in London W2.
The thieves jacked the car up in the middle on one side, and did their business. At least they left the car jacked up and they also left eight of the nuts in a neat pile, but took the two so called “locking” nuts with them. They broke all of the plastic covers in the process as well..
I wouldn’t be surprised that once a new set of wheels are fitted that the thieves will come back and nic them. This happened to another neighbours wing mirrors on a BMW M3, he lost 4 sets in as 3 months!
I can only guess that the thieves had the correct tool to get the locking nuts off , so my question is are there any really good locking nuts (non audi?) that can be used on RS6 wheels ?

try mcguard locking nuts but make sure they are the advanced ones with the spinning jackets which cost around 40 quid for a set from elite in essex www.elite.co.uk. and buy two sets! In truth there is nothing you can do - if a professional theif wants your wheels he will take them and if you make it too difficult he may steal the whole car or break into your house to get your keys. Scum of the earth if you ask me.......
