RS6 C7 Order UK status - please add

doodlebug : Ordered Early March - build was scheduled w/c 8th Sept, now pending
glm: Ordered 31st March - no build date - claimed due due to ceramics shortage (also an exclusive paint order). dealer Says due next update 15th Sept - perhaps expected Order jan 15
jezitalia : Ordered April - build week last week October - Delivery scheduled 1st / 2nd week Nov
Chesterfield : ordered End June - build was scheduled w/c 8th Sept - Status Unknown now week 37 (1st week September)
DavidBamford : Ordered Mid July - no build date
gdavison : Ordered End July - No Build date - No further update promised from Audi UK until Mid October

Cancelled mine on basis of it arriving AFTER the facelift is apparently due to be available to order. Press dept would neither confirm or deny that the new model is available to order from October. Which says to me it is, so I'll not be taking delivery of a brand new "old" model thanks.

i spoke to my dealer today and they have so far told me that they will ensure that its a facelift version and will honour the agreed price and absorb any increase - so far so good!

Once things are understood a bit more and its clear what has changed in regards to finer points on spec and options, they will then be able to confirm everything 100% - should know more mid week.

Loving Audi's A6 promotions, as I have said to them teasing, why promote a model you cant deliver at present?

I may have another lead on this, which will start to show on Audisport.net and be shared here too

Doodlebug, no news. My friend and neighbour has some connections at Audi UK, fairly well up I understand, as such can get, what I hope will be an honest view.

At present I am still being told, "no problem" for Nov. I fail to understand however if so many orders in front are delayed/ deferred, how can a week 45 build really happen. This is why I keep on at Audi, as there seems no logic, answering the other questions will give me more faith in either the fact or the fiction of the situation.

I am just astounded the marketing machine is still pedalling "the wonders of the A6" when they cant offer any deliveries to people at present, astounding. Is the left and connected to the right in anyway I wonder?

Just received this update from very helpful guy at Audi UK, in the exec office. Based on my rantings on Twitter they called me, he confirmed most orders held due to the F/L, but mine which was actually booked end May, but slot confirmed earlier in May is pre FL and should be with me end Oct.

Just got a call from dealer - I have a build slot!

However, this is for the original order. Option is take the preface lift version in jan or cancel and re-order - but still no idea when this will be as audi UK / factory are playing silly buggers by all accounts.

I'm going to cancel and wait that bit longer... As much as I would love to say feck it, I need a family wagon and this ticks more boxes than others out there.

If you cancel you will go back into the pile. Do not expect to get preferential treatment. Audi UK could not give any less of a <beep>.
