Yep. I'd already supplied mrc with 12 litres of the finest. :D

Annnd the new power figures are in (my sig). Pretty happy tbh. The torque under the curve has improved nicely across the board now too so should be noticeably "quicker" now.

Doug apparently had to run the car on the dyno at night because it's too loud to do the mapping during the day. I'm guessing by that that I made the right choice not getting a tubi!!

Remember hearing Sonnys at Ace Cafe, non res non valve non cat, sounded like a race car! Definitely a deciding factor for me swapping from res to non res. Still remember going through Hatfield tunnel for the first time with the non res, windows down......

WOW - smashing figures, Ross. 443 and 491 at 120K + is VERY respectable...

Oh yes. I come through the hatfield tunnel often. Will be going through Saturday again on my way down saaaf. And then Monday will be Dartford tunnel on way home! :D

Thanks Dean. Yeah, PS wise, nothing to write home about - 9ps gain or something. But 60nm up on standard and I'm very pleased!

128k now, and will trip 130k this weekend because of the 'ring trip. I know putting these miles on the car hurts it's value, but god damn it's so hard not to drive it when everywhere you go is a delight!

The tunnel from Ramsgate docks up to the top of the cliffs is epic when you're the only car in the tunnel!

+1 on both them. The other is the Cuilfail tunnel in Lewes...

What's that new (short) one in Cliffsend or something? Had a few blasts through there now. Good sounds! That whole new stretch of road still throws me, having lived around there for so long but now only going back every few months it seems to be forever changing!

I dunno about that one! I know when I had my 2001 R1 on carbs, you could hit the engine kill switch at 40mph, momentarily flood the exhaust with unspent fuel and flick the kill switch back on and it would CRACK with flames like nothing you've seen :rocker:

Tiny video that really does it no justice at all!

You can feel it in your chest when I come past apparently. Sounds stunning in person. And ideal - on idle or part throttle it's really no louder than before. Just MUCH more burble and pops on overrun. I'm like an 18 year old again!
