Got and S6 once as a curtiousy car

Took the car in for a service a while back, and was given one for the day as a curtiousy car, didnt have the power , but it was a very relaxed and had an aire of refinement.

Totally agree John,

hasn't got the urgency of RS cars.. but quick and refined.. Now I have the RS I can see that the S6 it a powerful, smooth and quick car....but not quite aimed at RS drivers

I’m reading this trying to think of the film with Sean Bean in it where they request “something fast…like an S6” and there is great footage of an S6 being flogged and broadsided through the streets of Paris. [img]images/graemlins/clap.gif[/img]

Anyone remember the film?

Yes some great pursuits indeed.
But the car that the S8 was hopelessly trying to kick out of the road above the French Riviera was a Peugeot 605.

...and the Pug was a 406 V6, not a 605
