New order - rims options

Post by tee-bee » Tue Sep 02, 2014 8:14 am

Morning all,

Not sure if you can see the attachment of the image, but are these rims (which are available in Audi.de) the:

20” x 9J ‘5 V-spoke’ design polished Titanium alloy wheels

If anyone has these, would be grateful if they can share them online ?

Thanks!

Aren't they just the UK V spokes with some black paint on them?

It's all torque talk.

Thanks for that.. I guess rotors do look better.

You note the hub area ? it's like 'corroding' ? have the same issue with my RS3. I guess going for ceramics you won't see these issues?

They are nice.. but £1500 on top? I'd rather go with BBS :

http://www.lkperformance.co.uk/wheels/b ... im_size=20

Not sure if these babies will fit in the RS4 without any spacers:

Size: 20 x 9.0" ET 25.00 PCD: 5x112.00

The top pic you posted showing the V spokes in black were also shown on the new Nogaro limited edition at Geneva,
but they are not on the audi configurator in black and I'm not sure if you can order them like that through Audi.
they have put more of a colour selection of the rotors up though, which look good in black with the silver lip.

Those V-spokes in Black are available in Audi.De website, seems like they are available for spec in the German market.

Kinda sucks you have to pay extra £1500 on top of the Sports pack for the new Black with silver/red lips rims. Should be half of that if one is to spec the Sports pack...

hmm, they did that at first with the V spokes, once you added the sports pack you still had to pay £1500 for them,
it was only after people complained that they were eventually included in the Sports pack bundle.
Might be worth asking Audi uk if they would included them in the pack once you've ordered?
or see if you could pay a minimal price just for the painting?

The premium for black rotors is ridiculous, you could get the silver rotors professionally powder coated for around £600.
2015 RS4 on the way
2014 SQ5
2011 Disco 4 HSE
2011 Mini One

Blimey, they do seem a bit pricey, Colour coded Rotor segments look utter pants too

Weirdly, I don't see sports pack on the Configurator any more

Yea, salesman checked with Audi UK. Seems like a bug with the Configurator. Sports pack is still available. You can't even configure RS6...

Salesman said prices will increase next year... am thinking if there's gonna be a slight change in the RS4? as we're gonna be seeing new Merc C-AMG out soon?

Did seem odd as the sports pack's quite popular it would seem
Something fishy going on with new RS6 orders as some dealers have apparently closed books had orders are being delayed, so not sure what's going odd

Not sure if Audi will changing pricing strategy due to new AMG. I guess it will depend on how well the market lap it up and his it effects RS sales, but possibly some good reductions coming up once b9 platform is shown in boggo petrol and diesels guises
