Depends what you mean by major - Boxhill > Dorking. Guildford. Croydon. London...

What are you after?

Nearest town is Dorking and that's just down the road (3-4 mins), there is easily enough there to keep a women occupied for over an hour. It's quite a mix of shops but not quite a major high street. If you want that, then Guildford (25 mins) or Kingston (35mins) would be the nearest major towns/city's.
