A 5.2V10 550PS S-Tronic is quite a combo ... So much so Lamborghini decided to run with it ;)

As suspected, intermittent fault so garage could not replicate or find. Cant blame them for that. Very good, polite service.
Getting back into the RS6 just after a day not having it cemented my love affair with it. I had got a little bit complacent with it as I drive it every day. Having a day in an A3 (which is a nice car and pretty nippy) and then getting back into the RS6 I realised again what a fantastic bit of engineering it is.
Told the dealer to put my name on the list when a new model RS6 comes out, I cannot now see myself driving anything else.
The only downer was the optional extra dent than appeared on rear wheel arch on collection. Very apologetic, hopefully it can be repaired simply and quickly with dent master or someone like that. A little worried as its Estoril Blue and other posts have said its a real problem to colour match, so I am hoping it doesnt need any spraying.

Next time you're planning to overtake, mash your foot through the floor or drop gears with the paddles. If you don't hit the step down on the loud pedal the car will try to accelerate in current gear, if that gear is too long, nothing is going to happen until turbos spool.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Since having the car, I dont think the accelorator has left the floor :biggrin3:
Maybe ive bent it due to my 16 stone hammering down on the poor little peddle so it never hits kick down. Still, that is what it was designed for.... ABUSE :FIREdevil:
