Go & grabs crystal ball.......

That all depends on the spec you want, mileage you're willing to accept & a good number of other things too. From what I have seen, the resale price for a used B8 RS is holding up quite well, though I am only going on the forecourt price.
It's all torque talk.

I have been thinking also about selling the B7 for the B8 not sure I would miss the B7 as mine is supercharged and the auto box would I find it boring

Speaking to a chap in a B8 at North Weald 1/4 test a few Sundays ago and he told me he regretted selling his B7 although preferred the more modern B8 interior and would be a better car for long journeys etc.

With a heavy head wind I ran a 13.33 and he couldnt beat 13.5.

If you're losing 150bhp of supercharged grunt, the manual box will be the least of your worries - B8 will feel superslow in comparison

FWIW, I've dragged a B8 against a healthy B7 (409bhp) and the B7 didn't stand a chance

I can't see, with all the emissions regulations, that it won't go the way of the M and AMG cars and take the turbo route
Personally, although we'll lose the noise, torque and easy power mods will be a welcome return to form

Would be nice to have a car with an easy fix for power after having the b7 and 8
If I do get mine charged, it will be a better weapon I reckon

Yeah, I agree
I genuinely love the current RS4, but If I had to level some criticism at it, it'd be that it needs a little bit more grunt so I can keep up with those pesky GTRs that seem so popular around my way

I'll definitely consider one of those next time I'm in the market for the most boring looking car on the planet :)
