just under 4k euro.............

thats for me (28, 2yrs NCB,clean license) with the other half named on it(as it made the insurance 400 euro cheaper,go figure?) all mods declared(MTM StgIII,H&Rs,Movits etc) tracker required.

Do I win?

It's renewal time for me. NU direct have increased the premium to £951 - if it wasn't for their calls being routed to India I might have stuck with them. Saga (yes, I do qualify on age) have quoted £975, which seems like a good bet, based on their customer feedback. I'm suspicious of the Privelege quote at £699, and am interested in the comments about Direct Line. However, Liverpool Victoria have quoted £789 - any good (or bad) reports of them?

RS4 £430 through Elephant.
Full ncd,garage,36 year old, protected policy.
No mods or additional security or points.

Tried for a further discount cause one of my rottweilers(the game as <beep> one) sleeps with the car keys under his bed

They would not budge on price
Cheers fc

Right going to stick with Egg insurance renewal as most places still wont insure me.

Was £2200 last year, is now going to come out approx £1600-1700.

Obviously this will drop even more once i pass 25 years of age.

My fleet policy has just come in for renewal, with me, the mrs and A N Other, £3000, was £1375 last year but have added three new cars.Fully comp with 35% (maximum NCB) and no points and all have Tracker. Covers RS4, E55AMG, 330D Touring, Ferrari, Suzuki GSXR and Rangey. So although it looks terrible, I am not so sure it is.

Greenlight take £970 off me for a 1999 S4 with K04s, Brakes, Exhaust etc etc. That's myself and wife for full business use (I'm 43) with 10+ no claims. Thought it was a little pricey but went with it for the Track Day coverage they offer (£65 per track day) which works out cheaper.

Simon, who is your fleet policy with ?

Just wondering, as I am with Zurich now which was cheaper than the portfolio policy offered by bank of scotland that I used to have.

Are the bikes also covered on it ?
(My policy only covers the cars - had to take a seperate Norwich union policy for the bikes )

Cheers,
John.

I've been with direct line for some years now. i always ring around at renewal time but no-one beats them. This time it was £770 for me 'n' the wife on the RS6 6 years no claims protected, and £600 for the carrera 4 for both of us with her as the named insured at 3 years discount.

I too tried all the ones with the tv ads and most wouldn't quote on the RS6. Scares them.

Just as well I kept the Saab 'cos the clutch went on the porker. I got it out of storage and phoned direct line to see how much it would be to cover it for a week - £12; bargain.

admiral offered that on the street although itd be garaged and with a tracker fitted and gonna do the advance driving test . looking at about 1500 . not bad for 30,00 worth of motor which is a wolf in sheeps clothing -looks reasonably tame but will whip the ass off stock evo's and the usual scooby p1'z .
