Norschleife in Winter

Post by donrs4 » Mon Mar 17, 2003 7:19 am

It's not an RS4, but it 's just a dream : check out this video which (after an initial footage of approx 20s) shows a tour of the Nordschleife on SNOW!!! This dude is just power sliding all the way. Absolutely spectacular and definitively worth the ~60MB download.

have a most magical day

Nice video !!!
Funny they chose a regular Carrera if I read right (not a C4/C4S). But that probably show how standard winter tires (ContiWinter Contact) do wonders on deep snow.
Gosh, now I'm hectic about taking the 4Motion with Pilot Alpin back on the snowy alpine roads! Sliding under a sunny day like this, with the white powder all around the car, wooaaaaaawww rhaaa lovely

download accelerator is a bit of software that can spped up downloads by using mirror sites and the best bit is it can recover after a lost connection

it is free to download form

www.speedbit.com
Can't beat a bit of boost!

Sorry Don, just found out your question on DAP -must have been using the new "Mark All Reads" button too lightly-.

As Bushy said, it's a small software that boosts most downloads and help recover them if connection cuts in process, so you don't start from zero Ko again.
(that feature is most useful for non-broadband users).

Another neat feature -that you can enjoy with broadband for extra-comfort- is its opening 4 to 8 simultaneous download streams from the download servers. Not only is it fastest in principle, but it can also download the file from different servers in parallel -one thing you can't do with a basic download through Explorer & co : you're stuck to the single server you started with.
And you can switch servers right in the middle of a DL, if one gets stuck for ex.

In any case, give it a try, it's free (Download Accelerator Plus 5.3)
