And the asset backed lending shouldn't be a problem even the dealer said. Etc I'm sure someone will snap that sepang if ur not sure on it as so many people wanted a sepang and missed out.

See the RS6 has gone from the iPad Audi config app... So def looks like books closed for new orders - fingers crossed there is enough stock that can be sourced still....

As its that and the a6 ultra line can't keep up with the demand. And he said gives me a bit more time to sort the finance etc out. But he did say should be good to go in a few weeks which kinda makes sense as I know the facelift was not due to late 2015.
Interesting, the Ultra models have an S-Tronic gearbox versus the Tiptronic in the RS 6, though. Maybe your dealer knows a little more, however, 'high demand' is the only reason that's been given, it could may well open again for ordering, it hasn't closed for a facelift, it is demand as far as I'm aware.

As a last resort maybe, but you loose the deposit contribution straight away, and not sure they'd be able to come close to Audi's 4.7% rate, not ideal.

Technically yes but as far as Credit's concerned it's still viewed as Unsecured as the Asset is far from a sure bet come repo time, unlike Secured such as a Mortgage or charge where the security is somewhat more stable (in most cases). Thus Vehicle finance is viewed as considerably more risky than certain other forms of lending when profiling an applicant.

M1R XE wrote:Fingers crossed the underwriters have promised a reply by Friday explaining what the problem etc is. And that car is lovely I'm sure someone will give a arm and a leg for that thing. But I was going exclusive otherwise would have just took a demo, hopefully something daft tbh and can be sorted like I said 50% in my favour and have never missed a payment etc only thing I can think of is paperwork proof as was needed for the Merc but they sorted that within a day this has been 2 weeks or so. But as mentioned I'm giving them till Friday. It must be some sort of problem with Audi as I know I can have a Merc even checked with them they're trying to sell me a S63 or E but I don't want one. Well have to wait and see once again guys thanks for the help and tips wish the finance team was as helpful like I said if this was Merc they did within a day or 2 paperwork shown to manager etc.
For Money Laundering checks etc., any Vehicle finance needs supporting by a couple of forms of ID but these are normally only required when collecting the vehicle as the final stage needed by the dealer to collect the funds from the finance company. Is this the paperwork check you're referring too?

All horses for courses as a mush looking at buying an F10 M5 last year was declined by BMW & Mercedes but approved by Audi so sometimes very limited logic. At around the same time i had my outgoing M5 funded, the incoming M5 approved & had been accepted for a C7 RS6 so circa £220k of vehicles approved/funded. Possible than BMWFS worked out the outgoing M5 would be replaced by the incoming one (don't bank on that being the case) but Audi had no visibility.
