I've only done one track day on my R888 and I doubt they have enough left in them for Spa... I'm thinking of getting a set of tyres shipped out there!!

Holy <beep>......1 track day and they are dead.....I've got part worn 888s so I reckon I'll be going home with slicks!!!!!! LOL

We have another car coming with us. Steve has a 458 Italia and I've contacted Chris at Circuit days to see if he can get him in for the Monday & Tuesday as the Monday is showing as fully booked. He will be coming with his wife Melissa and with us on the same euro tunnel crossing and staying at the Radisson

Just hoping I can get him on for the Monday but nevertheless he's with us so we will have Lotus, Audi, Datsun, Ferrari hooning from Calais to Spa

Not sure if everyone is aware...The Toyo R888 is track day tyre made from a road tyre carcass...
It will wear very fast and go off much quicker than proper track/street compounds from the likes of Yokohama AD08-R, Michelin Cup and Pirelli Trofeo as these are all made on separate area within their factories dedicated for motorsport tyres using a completely different carcass.

In our past experience 3 or 4 hot laps of a uk circuit and they will go off....drop into the pits and to cool them and they will come good again...nice predictable tyre but I wouldn't use them for Spa personally from my past experience.
'Ring maybe and its more of a road circuit...
A track tyre should last well past one track day and we keep a good selection on the shelf (we can still get Toyo's if preferred) if anyone wants to PM glen for prices.

i shall be driving over on 19" track tyres....ready to roll - bag of nails, some grease for the track just to add some spice..?
