I'd have gone with the carbon pack and carbon mirrors on mine if Audi hadn't confused the price of carbon with that of 24 carat gold leaf.

Like you I'm thinking of going the wrapped or dipped route, and looking at the pics on that DW thread, leaving the single quattro surround in aluminium looks strange IMHO.

I think the big mistake in the car shown in the linked thread is that the grille surround has been blacked out (presumably with a carbon-effect wrap) but the QUATTRO mini grille is still in aluminium effect. If you leave your grille surround in aluminium, I don't think the mini-grille will look out of place once you "lose" the blades.

Personally, I prefer the plain grille with no mini-grille at all but the blades and rear diffuser need to be in a contrast colour on some cars (for example, Alu works brilliantly on Estoril and the two blacks, I think).

Yeah true either side blades gloss black leave grill how it is. Or gloss black the lot the one in the links is a mess horrible carbon fibre wrap with Quattro bit left out. So hard stuck by my guns was gonna cancel the Alu pack today but can't decide.

Seats above look great, what cleaner/conditioner do you use? I just had the individual leather interior in the M3 completely replaced under warranty. The previous owner clearly had not a clue and runied it. It hasnt put me off a light leather but I am going to run the RS6 everyday so i have picked the car with the black, just fancy a break from it.

To be honest I don't do that much to keep them clean. Annually they get cleaned and conditioned by Robbie @ Valet Magic. He used to use Zaino products on my car, however we just changed to Gtechniq

as Gtechniq is a forum sponsor - drop a message to Gtechniq_Amy and ask her what they would recommend ?
