My C6 is silver interior and after 5 years still looks perfect (IMO) .. absolute worst is there is slight scuffing on the RHS drivers "kidney squab" caused by getting me in / out

Those C7 pics are of a car not looked after in any way ..

I just placed my order for a C7 today .. its silver interior again .. I am happy to post some pics of my old C6 interior if that helps

Depends how you look after it and what quality the leather and any protection are to start with. My previous xf had light interior and it was a pain in the arse, but surprisingly not the leather, it was the matched plastic areas on the central area near the gear selector that showed blue dye transfer from jeans etc, the leather was fine.

I'm loving that colour (exterior)! Not sure I've seen a black one before. I must say, looking at that, it is the first time I've thought to myself I can actually see myself getting one in a few years when the price drops. I can forgive it's ugly rear end in that colour!

hahaha happy to see it has you considering one. And yeah if you could post some pics up of your old c6 interior would help think I'm gonna stay brave and go with silver looks too nice not to. And as for protection I'm going down the ceramic pro route check it out guys you wont be disappointed and have been assured by the detailer that it will not only protect the paintwork but the interior also. It is a bit costly but worth every penny IMHO check it out guys great stuff and cheers gdavison appreciate the help.

You will get dye rub off from what ive been told but with correct treatment and protection applied to leathers should be fine. I also love the black looks great but fancy a change this time something lighter. :biggrin3:

Interesting trims on that car. Clearly the owner had opted for the Alu pack and then decided to cover over some of the brightwork but not all of it. Looks a little confused to my mind, especially the "QUATTRO" badge and surround that seem to be marooned in the otherwise all-black front grille.

Also, I appreciate that detailing gives the "ten-tenths" attention to a car's finish, but in those photos, 90% of the improvement in the look of the car came about just by giving it a good old-fashioned wash and a splash of leather cleaner.

I agree with the comments about the grill. That aluminium quattro bit on its own makes the car look like its got a stupid grin.

I have opted for the mat alu pack just for the quattro bit in the grille nothing else. Prefer standard gloss black side blades and rear diffuser lip but was hoping to get wrapped. What do you guys think drop the mat alu pack or go for it and gloss black it all out ?.
