Thanks for the comments guys. I'll get the intake pressure tested before I proceed. If all turns out to be well, does anyone know who does aftermarket actuators, as 3.5K on new turbos really isn't an option!!
Cheers.
Matt.

Matt, keep us posted, anyway, I've never heard of wastegate actuators problems on Audis ever, so don't get fooled into replacing them, that's not your problem IMHO.

If you need help fixing the car without having to pay a garage for it, I could help you out, if you want it of course,

Any garage nearby that is used to dealing with turbo charged cars should be able to pressure test the car. Failing that Jim at Star Performance has never been anything other than helpfull when I have asked questions about APR gear. Could do a lot worse than visit him before dropping £3.5K on turbos.

As well as a intake test also get them to check the pressure lines from the N75 valve to the wastegates. If this has a tear you'll never get the turbos to produce more than .4/.5 bar pressure. This is what the ECU does in limp mode.
