Club cars and quarter miles.

Post by Noyjatat » Wed Jul 16, 2014 1:57 pm

Been to a few events and have seen a lot you guys in the south eastern end of the country in the past.

Was wondering of those fo you who have ventured onto the quarter mile strip what sort of times you have got and in what cars with what set up.

Reason I ask, I am planning on coming back into the fold next year and am already planning ahead to get some money for the tweeks many of us do. My budget is not unlimited and although I enjoy a blast around a track or country road most of the time I just enjoy a flutter away from the lights, there doesn't need to be anyone next to me.

So if you have run the quarter mile I would like to hear about what times you got, in what car with what set up. Road legal only ;) well ecluding Cat adjustments that is.

Hi gaz didnt think it would be long before you came back to the fold, i reckon a tuned s4 would be good, ive been in saints 400's car and its bloody quick, no throwing silly money at it to get the power, unlike the rs4

Seen good things of it buddy both through the visits to Box Hill and the odd YouTube vid.

Some other options in mind are TTRS with the MRC touch

Also wondered the viability of TTS supercharging a B7 S4 to run as a sleeper.
