Drayke Fields Detailing - Transformed my R8

Post by HYFR » Fri Jul 11, 2014 7:13 pm

This is my 3rd visit to Drayke Fields, and like the other two visits I am over the moon with the results, the attention to detail, the pride in their work, the trustworthiness and the willingness to go the extra mile.

I put the car in for a full front end paint protection using their SunTrek films which are self healing.

Also for them to arrange a wheel refurb and wheel swap

And turn the mirror caps gloss black until I get so e carbon fibre jobbies.

Well picked up the car this evening and everything is perfect.

Honestly can recommend these guys highly enough.

They are based on the outskirts of Bham, and have a modern, clean and secure unit. Top top quality

And they offer discount to RS246 members

Anyway, coupe of pics...

Looks superb

Geeky question if you were wrapping the nose with film - why leave the front badge on? Did they recommend *not* to remove it with a fear of damaging the paint?

Looks great! I had a chat with Henry yesterday and will be getting mine booked in next month based on what a great job they did on your R8.

There looks like quite a lot involve with swapping the exhaust over in comparison with a standard car. Assume the Capristo is on the right and if so looks a lot more compact and presumably a whole lot lighter too. Hope the back of the car looks just as shiny when put back together seen as this is post detail.
