Come on we all know Audi should have ditched the N/A V8 I'm the B8?

they Should have held back a year on the B8 RS4 and stuck the 4.0 V8 TT in it.....maybe touching 480-500bhp FTW.

Great engine that it is.....even the B8 variant seems to be "economical with the truth" when it comes to power figures.

I'm not knocking any RS model I like them all...they all have their strengths and weaknesses I suppose.

At the end of the day I drive a 2tonne wardrobe!!

Sooo, you must come out of the wardrobe more than a few times a week, must be confusing for you and your family.

The shoehorn the 4.0T into the B8 argument has been done to death, general consensus is it wouldn't fit.
No matter where you go, there you are.

I agree the B8 is a let down ... too heavy for that engine

B7 was the master RS 4

See I really liked driving the RS5 and I'm very partial to how it looks. Oh dear, no one is going to agree with each other... I see an Internet fight coming on.

Exactly!!! there's not much difference between the 5 and the 4
Except the 4 looks better. IMO that is, and is also more practical, yeh it's a Shame Audi didn't do something different engine wise, fook the turbos they should have charged the v8, if I didn't have 2 kids I wouldn't be driving an Audi full stop!! Best looking estate for the size out there atm

See I don't get it, to me the rs5 looks boring
The only one I liked was DK's yellow one, but that was spaced and lowered

If you'd asked me 6 months ago, based on my limited exposure to driving an RS5, I'd have agreed with you
However, it's a grower and from the right angles, looks lovely with the right colour/pack
It's really grown on me, and although I wouldn't personally choose one as my everyday car to buy for ever, if I didn't have to ferry kids and bikes around, I'd certainly consider it.
Unfortunately, M3/4 trump it in pretty much every measurable criteria (Sound and wet handling aside), so that market is now closed.
The RS5 sports exhaust is just that little bit more 'sporty' than the RS4 one too...

Still, I'm still looking forward to my rs4 arriving Sept 2nd

Think the RS5 need the following to "look" the buisness....

Facelift
Pano roof
Rotors
Ali pack
Ceramics
Buckets

And maybe a bright colour like Misano or Imola?

I think a dark colour and alu pack, and I think the rotors are the weak link on my car - would look much better with Vspokes

Audi swindon had a dk blue metallic RS5 (same Dk blue as is factory on RS6) with Vspokes and silver pack in their car park the other day, and it looked stunning
