Sports exhaust is far superior to standard.
In what way is the sports exhaust far superior? Does it give a little boost to the power?
The standard makes a nice noise and has good crackle and pop on lift off.
Noise. No change to output.
Okay, thanks.

Standard noise was okay for me (test car had 11k miles on it and sounded very nice) and if I do decide it's lacking then I'll get an aftermarket that gives a little power boost too. :D

Check that, not sure that any of the aftermarket options offer power increase without faffing with cats etc.

Options I went for:

Black gloss 21" alloys
Lane change Assist
HUD
LED headlights
Sports Exhaust
Panoramic Sunroof
Rear Camera
Privacy Glass
Advanced Key with Power Boot
Phone Prep high
dynamic pack
Matt aluminium
Homelink
Speed display
Power door soft close
Lane change assist
Thru load
Load area kit & reverse mat.
Heated rear seats

I am happy with all these options however:

The HUD is so much of a must have option for me that I now struggle to take my eyes off of the road to see a normal speedometer readout when I drive a car without a HUD. The Audi HUD is not quite as nicely integrated as the BMW version which is recessed fully into the dash but it's still ok and the actual display is great.

The reversible luggage mat and load area kit are both very useful options.

Advanced key and soft close doors. I never thought I'd think soft close doors was a must have but closing a car door that doesn't have soft close seems so... primitive :)

I regret not going for the full blown rear view camera option.

Have a bunch of options on mine, which is Misano Red (so will avoid things I added cosmetically for the colour - like red belts)
Things I would add in order:
1) sports exhaust - it just sounds fab in town or out in traffic - if you like to pose - otherwise don't bother
2) 21" wheels - they fill the arches so much better
3) Rear parking camera (or top view if you want to spend more) - this was added to my build accidentally by Audi - but I'd now always spec it - I love it
4) Dynamic pack (no need for plus) - I personally think that the performance of the led lights (on tight country lanes ie hight speed driving on the Isle of Mull) and steel springs are far superior and good value
5) Telephone high - not for me but all my passengers really appreciate having a wireless network in the car with the far superior performance of a car kit vs tagged phone hotspot - the google stuff doesn't add much to be honest
6) heated rear seats (cheap option at £100) to keep rear seat passengers happy
All the other stuff is a bit of a waste IMHO

Can anyone confirm the differences between the two cruise control options (in the UK)

One is
Adaptive cruise control (ACC) with Stop&Go function including pre-sense front

While the other is
Adaptive cruise control (ACC) with braking guard, Audi side assist and Audi active lane assist with pre-sense plus

My questions are, will both of these bring the vehicle to a complete stop and is the second one just bundling in the
"Audi side assist including pre-sense rear and Audi active lane assist"
Which is normally £925 for the price of £460?

Is it worth the upgrade of the "standard" adaptive cruise?

Also consifering the HUD, night vision and speed limit display, but I'm worried they are all just gimmicks?

Also, I'm having second thoughts about soft close doors and their safety with children. Are there any safety measures in place to prevent children having their digits crushed by the door being pulled closed on them by the motors?

Re, ACC yes, you get a discount with the bundle.

Re HUD, go and try it. Personally I think it's a gimmic, and the whacking great plastic jobby on top if the dash looks <beep>. And the windscreen is special, not a day to day consideration, but could be an arse ache if you're in the middle of Europe when it smashes. Night vision and speed limit display, can't see the benefit.

Re the doors, I'm not sure, you'd have to ask.
