Pulley Kit

Post by Mik » Wed Feb 02, 2005 11:18 pm

Hey

Anyone got the ECS Light Weight Pulley Kit? Is it worth the $270 from ECS? ECS claim it reduces rotational mass of stock pulley system, but I am wondering if really makes a notable difference?

Cheers

I think the consensus on AW is that pulleys do FA on the S4. I would never touch my crank pulley
in any case (not in public anyway [:)] )

:D Had a look on AW seems to be a lack of consus on this subject more than anything...oh well....would be interested to hear if anyone has actually fitted any of the pulleys and whether theres any value in it. My engine is going out soon so just making sure I change all the bis worth changing before it goes back in :P

Anybody thought about increasing the size of the power steering pulley to remove some assistance and get more steering feel?? Anybody know anybody who has considered it?

My belt snapped once. Bit too much steering feel then....

I have a set of underdrives on my car, from Unorthodox in the US. I wouldn't say there's a night-and-day difference, but the engine does rev noticeably livelier on the top end. Engine otherwise functions like stock, no changes noticed on the charge meter..... Rgds, Eric
