RS4 Throttle Body?

Post by K9ng » Wed Feb 02, 2005 1:18 pm

Hi, I am in the process of getting all the parts together ready for some K04/K16 turbos coming next week :D I have the RS4 inlet manifold, Y-pipe etc and was wondering if the S4 throttle body would fit?

Any help is much appreciated.

If you get no joy here post on the following:

www.audiworld.com The yanks have done some extreme stuff to the S4 and someone will know.

It's worth calling Kim Collins, AMD, Dynalinx or who ever you are planning to have the remap done by.

Hi Paul,

Did you get the K04/K16's from Jacob? If so, are they the tribrids? (K03 Housing, K04 turbine, K16 compressor)
As for the throttle body, I don't think it will fit. What injectors, MAF etc are you planning to run?

Golich, are any of the guys you mentioned able to do remaps or do they just install files?

Cheers,

AmD and (I think) Dialynx are capable of remapping cars. Kim Collins at QST would/could get the MTM guys over to do the remap.

Cheers Golich I will try Audi-world, I did speak to Amd one person said the inlet would fit without the throttle body as long as I've got the Y-pipe and another person there said I might need it :?

Johnny I have gone for the K16/K04 ported polished and ceramic coated.

Cheers
