New car

Post by S2tuner » Sat Jan 29, 2005 9:43 am

Hi guys, just to let you all know that I'm finally twin-turbo'd!!!!

I just brought her back home from Germany, it's an 08/98, silver grey, black leather/blue alcantara interior, sport steering wheel, 17" Avus, perfect paintwork, 79k miles, completely original engine-wise (including a shot MAF, duh!!!) and I just love her!!!!

I'm going to get the timing belt done ASAP, change the MAF and BPVs and then get the fun started!!!

I'll post some pics if weather allows to clean her up and take a few shots...

Cheers,

Mihnea

PS: where the fun begins, is in a few months when the complete AZR (RS4) engine shows up, K04/K16s and a few other goodies and hopefully at least 550HP

Thanks guys, I just got up, too tired after the trips across germany

550 BHP will involve in this case: complete RS4 engine, lowered compression ratio, ported and polished and flow-benched cylinder heads, MTM or tubular exhaust manifolds, 3.5" exhaust system or Milltek dual, Bosch Motorsport fuel pump, 5 Bar fuel pressure and stock injectors or bigger if necessary, K04/K16 turbochargers, large FMIC, large oil cooler where one of the stock ICs was, Samcos, etc etc etc etc.... we'll find out if those K04/K16's can do 550 or not  if they can't, it's gonna be back to the drawing board and we'll find out what turbos are good for that power on the 2.7T...

Cheers all, I'll go and clean her up a bit now...

Jeff, the Bosch Motorsport fuel pump can be ordered from any Bosch dealer, it might require the RS4 fuel pump basket assembly and other associated bits and pieces as it does for fitting on an S2, the price is around £170 off the top of my head...

Cheers,

Mihnea
