Mat alu pack.

Post by M1R XE » Tue May 20, 2014 10:12 pm

Love the mat alu pack just for that Quattro Stamp I'n the front grille. Looks fantastic on silver grey cars but I'm not too keen on the silver strip on the rear diffuser. And the carbon pack is just too much what do you guys think ?.

Daytona with alu or red with carbon/morrors. Neither colour really floats my boat hence I've gone Mugello.

Carbon pack in the flesh gives you the horn. All else is just standard fare.

if you are going to go carbon, then you have to get the carbon wing mirrors too - IMHO - and thats £5.5k straight off the bat. Rather put the money in to the brakes, even if i would love to have carbon bits.

Still not that keen on the quattro badge, so happy to go without either option

The carbon bakes are all well and good but seriously unless you've tested both in the new RS6. I would beg to differ ceramics are obviously fantastic but the standard brakes on the C7 are a big step up from my C6 and I think the ones to go for. Unless you feel like you need the ceramics.

With the Carbon pack, you can free delete the Quattro sign. Or, if it's just screwed on, remove it for a cool hanging sign for an office wall

FWIW, I like the black styling, but not over keen on the cost of having it carbon, so a half way option would be to order standard with the silver window surrounds, roof rails and grill surround and then just get it dipped or wrapped black

Graeme sounds like a plan tbh. For me at least I'm going to ask if I can have the mat alu pack with the rear kept black then just wrap dip the rest gloss black etc. Or if not order the alu pack and just get the lot done.
