South of France, where....when..... :jump_clap: Toying with the idea of driving to Frejus and staying there, and attending the MC Grand Prix. Have five spare beds if anyone else fancies a jolly... :bigblink:

Oh bollox !!
no can do on those dates.
I am riding down to the Alps on the 20th for 10 days.
We're on the 8:15 ferry, so might see you there.

Frejus you say. Which one - in the Alps or on the coast ? (coast I expect)

We are heading for Savines-les-Lac, east of Gap.
Its gonna take us 3 days to get there though as we don't do motorways and
are going via the Massif Central for some fun (D996 & D906 east of the E11
are superb if you have some time to kill ;) )
Having a couple of days playing in the Alps, then Heading for the Black forest
to do the B500 again :D

Shame that, sounds like we could have had a blast too.

Bugger.

The roads in the massif central are indeed very good.
Also try to the west of Clermont Ferrand, and just south of the Puy de Dome. :D

Yep, Paul, did all (well, most) of those roads last year, which is why we're making a detour this year on the way down ;)

Had a slight problem with one of the roads though - they were resurfacing with about 3 inches of loose chippings, not nice when you find yourself entering that at about 80 on a bike  :? !

Oooh, I'm getting excited just thinking about it :boots:
