Another Defector

I don't believe there's a difference in exhaust note between a Standard, Performance Pack or 507 Edition, its just minor upgrades to some engine internals; the exhaust itself is common throughout.

My one does pop and crackle quite a lot on over run - which I like a lot!
Not sure if the standard C63's are the same.

Picked the Car up two weeks ago done a few miles not enough to judge it properly been away in Ireland working for two weeks first impressions are very good great engine sounds superb pops and crackles on the downshift try and get some pics up if I can remember how to do it

Hi Tim,
I have the mic ty-wrapped to the towing eye which is about 6" above the RHS exhaust.
At speed there is a bit of wind but I think its just exhaust gases.
I'll try to record again with the mic mounted on a spare number plate (which I'll elastic band around the original); should still be fairly wind free and pick up sound from both exhausts.

Sounds awesome Pie! Bet your neighbours love you! When I had the tubi on my charged RS4 one of my neighbours threatened to call in noise pollution lol!!
