A few questions

Post by coffeechris » Sat Apr 19, 2014 6:43 pm

Hi, I have a few 'newb' questions that I can't seem to find answers too for a 2004 plus model ... If I may:

1) stereo was working fine. Now no sound at all and I want to check the Bose Amp fuse (audi navigation system plus). It's not the mute symbol.... And no hissing / crackling noises. Apparently I have a newer Bluetooth module for phone fitted if that makes a difference (where I don't know).
2) small box labelled audi under the rear multi-changer. Has a fan on front and multiple AV leads coming from it.
3) does the car option on the head unit actually do anything?
4) is it worth / easy to LED the interior / exterior lights? Any example pics?

Thanks and point me to pages if I have missed them. I have searched / googled.

I can only help with a few -

2) That's the Analogue TV Tuner.

4) LED's make a huge difference, very easy to do and a Kit should cost around £50-60 for all the interior lights only. Here's my pictures, I've done all the interior, door, license plates and side lights (to be swapped with CREE versions, mine are a bit poop TBH). Have a chat with Trups on here as he does these kits.

Thanks Ian - appreciated.

Those do look very nice - that's one I'm going to have to do then, superb.

Cheers
