22-24mpg when i first bought it with 35000 miles on it.
20-22mpg when it touched 60000 miles.

Generally 250-270 miles to a tank.

My driving was 50% motorway, 50% A roads, very little around town driving.

The last time I looked, it averaged 13.6mpg. Funny enough, I got 30mpg in a 10 miles trip in heavy snow 1 o'clock in the morning, going very slow in top gear is not what the RS was built for.

mine often says 335 miles range when I fill up yet I only ever get somewhere between 200 and 250 miles out of a tank. usually around the 240 mark :?

average for normal daily use about 20 mpg and have got it up to about 27 on long drives (down to belgium for example)

one "spirited" 10 mile drive can easily knock 30 or 40 miles off the range (and no doubt quite a lot of fuel from the tank)

I asked the same question when I first had mine and the answer I got has stuck with me ever since - "If you get more than 20mpg, your not trying hard enough!"

If I see anything over 180 miles to a tank I must have miss daisy in the back. That's from full (without getting stinky fingers) to the low petrol warning coming on. I normally get 170 to 180 miles
When I lived in London all I got was 120 miles to a tank.

Typically 20 ish MPG.
Last year though on a wet and horrid 55 mile return home on A roads, I reset the computer and drove as economically as possible just to see what could be achieved. It was agony, and I rarely braked etc but when I rolled onto the drive (and I mean rolled as did the last 0.5 miles with no gas use, I did an amazing 30.5 to the gallon average!

I will NEVER do that again.

Paul.

I fill my tank each time with V Power at 1.36/gallon and I'm getting about 260 miles that's sometimes driving sensible which is 20mpg and sometimes hard 16.5mpg so I'm guessing that's average for an RS4 with 97k on the clock ye??
