Rs4 tyre mobility / tools

Post by Gastro » Sun Apr 06, 2014 2:53 pm

Hi guys, don't shoot me.... But I'm struggling here.
In the boot, there is a jack, tyre compressor and and a large B&o 'thing'

I see that my car doesn't have locking wheel nuts.... (V spoke alloys).

So, where is the nut spanner ?

Or... Does the car have run flats as standard and not deemed necessary ?

Confused :bash:

Bolt heads have plastic covers. Remove covers and you'll find 4 bolts and a locking bolt.

All in the boot under the false floor.

The wheel cap remover looks like a plastic pair of tweezers.

Did the saleman handing over the car not show you this? :audibash:

No, car delivered to house.
All he was interested in was getting a lift to the train station.

I'll take another look, but I can't see them in there ?

The rear two thirds of the boot floor folds up to reveal the spare wheel (not that the RS4 probably comes with one)

The front third of the boot floor folds up to reveal the tools
