The TT is just a car whilst I buy a house.... As <beep> as it is, it make a change from driving a Freelander 1,000miles a week.

The car still needs uprated cams and a map to suit, this is being done in 2 weeks as the car is off the pace, also to make it more competitive, AST 2's will be added when my funds recharge.

Im looking at getting the weight down a bit more, the only areas to attack are the front windscreen in favour of a Lexan one and wilded in seat supports as the subframe is a few kilos. Next would be a lightweight CF seat, saving around 3kg on the item in there all ready. So in total your looking at about 11kg to shed...this would bring the car down to 870kg (1/4 tank fuel) Race weight 9XXkg ;)

Anyway that some time off yet....

Had a good weekend racing, no car dramas so all good.

Qualified 10th

Race 1 finished 6th

Race 2 finished 7th.

Not happy to be honest, hit my limit in the car. Deffo going to swap out the suspension for some competitive AST sportlines race edition parts or uprate my springs all round.

Been analysing the vbox footage all week, been interesting

Next race, Castle Combe 5th May

haha I forgot to ask you how it went? did you do all 28 stops, and did you have 28 pints or did you resort to shots lol I dont think I could manage 28 pints, esp getting on and off the tube.

p.s and yes Im well and truly taking it seriously lol

Yes all 28 stops, half pints, so 14pints! Walked most the route, so was only on the tube a few times!

So what car will Paul be in?
