Congratulations thats one classy looking motor ,its nice to see a proper car for a change rather than the run of the mill cars that look like they've driven through Halfrauds.

What looks like halfords?? There's hardly a massive choice on exterior spec, black optics or silver, rotors or v spokes, what's run of the mill, how does a +50k car look like it's gone through halfords, what's the problem with my question?

run-of-the-mill adjective
the match was a pretty run-of-the-mill affair: ordinary, average, standard, middle-of-the-road, unremarkable, unexceptional, undistinguished, unmemorable, forgettable, commonplace, humdrum, mundane, nondescript, characterless, colourless, conventional, normal, pedestrian, prosaic, uninspired, uninspiring, quotidian, uninteresting, uneventful, dull, boring, routine, bland, lacklustre, tame, mediocre, middling, indifferent, unimpressive; N. Amer. garden-variety; informal OK, so-so, bog-standard, vanilla, plain vanilla, nothing to write home about, nothing to get excited about, nothing special, a dime a dozen, no great shakes, not up to much; Brit.

Any car can look like its gone through Halfrauds irrespective of what it costs.

Looks lovely
I've got some photos of nimbus grey with various wheel colours photoshopped on at home on my laptop so I'll paste them up later when I'm home

Cool number plate by the way, I assume x isn't an initial unless you're a xavier ?

Silas you asked me what run of the mill was and the reply i gave was copied and pasted from Apples {computer manufacturer }definition so not really a rant."Chip on his shoulder" The phrase having a chip on one's shoulder refers to holding a grudge or grievance that readily provokes disputation. For some unknown reason Its only you that seems to have a problem with what i post and keep questioning them like there is some hidden agenda, this is a public forum where people are entitled to post without being questioned every time they do, if you don't like what i post stop asking me to explain them its as easy as that .

TBH I can't even remember replying to your posts before, I think your taking things to seriously,I asked you a simple question,ie to explain what looks halfords to you on a b8 rs4,that is what we are talking about isn't it?? Don't take things the wrong way, you still have not answered a simple question

Very nice XDV.

We looked at a Nimbus Grey TT at the dealers the other week, the fleck in the paint will sparkle in the sun. Nice choice. :biggrin3:

Never said it wasn't nice but if it was me id have black optics and slightly darker wheels. I have a car in a slightly flatter colour and with black optics and wheels it looks superb. I must like the halfords look
