RS3 to be twin turbo 350bhp!!

I dont think that the full RS3 spec has been officially released, its just a little bit of info indicating that it will have a twin-turbo engine with 350bhp, it`s on the audi corp site. [img]images/graemlins/s3addict.gif[/img]

IMO you can read something into that. Audi have squeezed a V8 into the new S4 that produces 345bhp (IIRC). They've now looked at the market and have decided that the new RS3 needs to have around 350bhp (which sound right as I heard that Skoda are going to have a 300bhp hatchback).

So they have to put lots more than 350bhp into the new RS4, but haven't announced it even though it should be available before the RS3. Which means they haven't got a f***ing clue how they're going to do it!

Presumably you mean that to get, say, 450 HP you need to turbocharge and to fit a pair of turbos into a cramped engine compartment is going to be tricky in the extreme [img]images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

it's already tricky with 2.7T, everyone who changed the turbos know that....

I'm very anxious about the RS3....it might be even better choice than new RS4...

V6 3.2 is kinda new VR6.... as you know it has only one exhaust manifold.... means you can easily modify biTurbo RS3 to be ONE BIG TURBO machine [img]images/graemlins/1syellow1.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/1syellow1.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/1syellow1.gif[/img]

it doesn't change the fact that Vr6, which 3.2V6 in fact is, has the exhaust outlets on one side of the engine only. It's not a usual V6. Haven't you ever seen an vw/audi's VR6?

That's why it will be a easy upgrade. Just as in Toyota Supra.
