VARSITY,

how are you finding the milltek???

I am considering upgrading, but was looking for a bit of feed back on how you find it day to day.

I'm doing about 700 miles a week at the minute and am concerned there might be too much cabin noise!

cheers

shane

As we have the Double Glazing option, its great, you hear it when you want to but not when cruising.

They tried some different configuration and I like what I have, much more pronounced that the Audi sports exhaust but still as quiet when behaving.

Beware though, when on full chat it will wake anyone within 2 miles and set all the villagers alarms off!!

Cheers
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Hi there guys anyone thinking for the heat and sound insulated glass (double glazing). Think again or at least what I've been told that it interferes with the Bluetooth connection and to to leave it out by the dealers.

Also what is the advanced key ?. Surely the car has a push button electric tailgate and the car unlocks by key. I'm guessing the advanced system when it unlocks as u pull the handle and have the key on you ?. Also on the demo the handles had a small square on them allows you to lock unlock by pressing them anyone else got a bit more on this thanks.

Hmmm doodlebug I thought that's what it was about the walk up to car with key in picket entry. I'm sure the start button is standard on the RS6 right ? It wasn't on the C6 but sure it is on C7 can anyone help us here haha thanks. As long as it has start stop button standard electric boot that will do me. Not too fussed on the keyless entry.

No advanced key no start button. Key in dash the same as C6 without advanced key.

I may be wrong but I think the start button is standard on all A6 c7 models, not just the RS6, they call that keyless go. The advanced key is basically for keyless opening of doors and boot (as long as you don't order the carbon park). On mine you can go up to the boot and with a kicking motion under the rear bumper it opens the boot without the need to press the button on the fob. Very handy when your carrying something and you don't want to put it on the floor. To open the doors you just place your thumb on the square on the door handle and this will open or lock the doors. I tend not to lock the car that way as your never really sure it locked :beerchug:

Rs phantom thanks that what I thought I'm pretty sure the start stop button is standard. As for the button on the handle is your cars system standard or the advanced key ? Thanks.

Advanced key option. It's handy but I could live without it but its seems it one of those options that everybody wants. Apparently its the same with the sunroof.
