NEW INFO OF RS4

Post by RS4Racer » Wed Jan 12, 2005 6:09 pm

Hi Guys,

my friend is working by Quattro GmbH, and he is driving at the moment with the New RS4 sedan. I have ask him about the blue one with KE.plates.
Yes ,that´the right one of a test car from the factory!!

My information was that the car was testing now in Finnland(he has drive to FIN) and he said, in comparing to our "old" nice RS4,the acclerration and the sound is quite better than the first RS4. OK, comparing not to a tuned up RS4 2.7.
The exhaust system is the same like in the VW Golf R32( i don´t know in english),the brakes are the same of RS6 (6 pistols) The dampers are very hard, he said, very sportive .
This car is without limiter and he said, he has seen 310 km/h on the speedometer one time
The gasoline consumtion was between 10-12 ltr/100km /160km/h

The front is comming in that way, we have seen on the photos.
19" alloy wheels as option and also Recaro Sport Seats, like the older one in sport paket by RS4 2.7, and race brakes as option.

bye

Knowing the security and policies at GMBH, i would say your friend will be looking for a new job soon, they guard the R&D dept so much, they will not be happy if somebody is leaking info.........especially before the motorshow release
