Audi Customer Services....

Post by smudge » Sun Feb 23, 2014 11:51 am

Does anyone have a telephone number? I can't find one on the site. I've got to load the car up for a drive into London this afternoon & the headlights aren't going to level due to my rear view mirror having fallen off yesterday. Audi Assist suggest I call them if I have any issues! Bi-xenons pointing up & blinding the pilots coming into Heathrow due to 40kgs in the boot isn't really cricket is it??

It's all torque talk.

i cant think how the interior mirror will effect the h/lights as the load level sensors are on the suspension, you could also switch it off by pressing the button in the mirror or you could just go down to a spares shop and buy some double sided mirror tape and stick it back on and save yourself a whole heap of agg :bigblink:

Thanks, already tried the tape, but the mirror is too heavy to keep it on.

I've spoken to the mechanic that looks after my car at Jack Barclays & he's told me it will be fine. He confirmed what you said re the leveling, the car is just telling me the their is a headlight fault - so I assumed. I've just been a drama queen! :bash:

Thanks anyway!

have you got high beam assist ? if so that will be the fault as it uses a sensor inside the mirror mount,as for sticking the mirror back on they are only held on by tape so maybe you used c*ap tape, trip to stealer still seems a load of agg to me just for a piece of tape :beerchug:

Back in the 90s maybe, but its not quite that on cars with rain sensors.

I understand the rvm wouldn't bond back on so they're replacing the windscreen now.
