What's it worth?

Post by BigD » Sun Feb 16, 2014 4:35 pm

Afternoon all, long time no post...

I have had from new a Daytona saloon, tech pack, quattro sports suspension, buckets, carbon trim, auto opening boot with 18k on the clock and full main dealer service history with all the recall things done.

The has been used rarely for weekends away/summer blasts in the last 7 years (used regularly for 1 year as a daily). Just sitting here thinking the last time I drove it was to be detailed and before that MOT. It's going in for an MOT next week... Which led me to think I should probably sell it.

I am totally out of the loop, what's it worth?

Thanks in advance.

Dave

HYFR's 25k would be conservative and you could achieve 26k-28k with that colour, specification and number of keepers. If you're prepared to wait whilst fending of the tyre kickers/dreamers then you could achieve a good price. I wouldn't mind betting that the trade would forecourt it well into the 29k's.

depends on how quickly you would like to sell it

it is surely one of the lowest mileage, 1 owner cars left in the UK - but waiting for the 1 individual that is prepared to pay a huge premium for it is something else

Thanks for the replies gents, more than I was thinking.

I am in no rush to sell, and inevitably I will have doubts when I fire it up and drive it to the stealer for the MOT on Wednesday.

Where is it best to place a no tyre kickers or test pilots ad? Forum(s) classifieds/autotrader etc?

Regards

Dave

Personally having just sold a car I'd stick a forum ad, piston heads gets you dreamers and midnight texts offering peanuts
I think you'll get more serious interest through a forum.

Looks a cracking motor too...
