I wonder if anyone's got any ideas for the best wheels for an S3? I've now just ruined my 4th set of RS4 reps by hitting potholes on the crap roads we have around here.
Our local wheel guy reckons that I should go for a split-rim as they are stronger? What does anyone else think?
Best Wheels?

Probably because most (?) split rims are probably also forged and or rolled rims that are lighter AND stronger

bbs - strong, light and look great (lm or ch), car feels a little more nimble with bbs as well (less unprung weight)

RE: Re: Best Wheels?
As Sash suggests the one peice BBS CH or the lightweight BBS RC.
They are a lot lighter than standard therefore improves things and helps the unsprung weight etc.
The split rim wheels generaly are heavier than the equivalant one peice wheel. The advantage of the the three peice and two peice is the wheel can be repaired with new rims etc.
OZ Superlegeras are also a good choice in 18" to they are half weight of the standard 17" S4 wheels.
I have run the above on various cars on fairly poor rural roads here in Pembrokeshire with out any problems......
