No point getting sentimental about piece of metal. Go bite that persons arm off...12k.

I look forward to seeing the revised car advert for 16k.

That's the thing I wouldn't sell the base car for 16k, that's way too cheap! It's a good chance for someone to sell the parts and be left with a minter b7

I look forward to seeing the revised car advert for 16k.

Slip photos are there too.
Either way, to me, there aren't a lot of supporting mods to get these figures. Filters, 'zoort and tune will get 750/950 out of the C6 all day long. You'll need to strap on a very good supercharger for the B7 to keep up.
On track (same driver) you'll need a long a technical track for the B7 to lose a C6... vice versa, the B7 would need a miracle or the C6 with brakes on fire before it'll get past, which is likely to happen.

Yes they're heavy, the 'box isn't the best but they deserve their 'Beast' moniker. If you're sat next to one a set of light, you'd better nail every shift because all the C6 boys have to do is mash the loud peddle while watching TV.
All good info again, thanks for the links.

Again though...not 'just a remap'.

Still, quicker than I thought. I would trade my rs4 for a c6 avant in a heartbeat. I don't dislike them. I just dislike bad information.

As you are finding out, your market for a done to the 9s car is a fraction of one for a normal car. Parting out is a good suggestion. Selling a car with an exhaust on it rules out a big chunk of the market who don't like the idea of someone mofidifying a car. It conjures up images of fast and furious ricers.

Having a supercharger and all the rest is intimidating as hell to even some of the forum folks.

Realistically for the parts you should be able to get that 12grand. It will cost probably 1-2 grand in labour, and the odds of having all of the stock parts are slim. It it will actually sell. Sounds like you just want to keep it unless someone gives you the price and an easy excuse to buy something else.

Then it sounds like he can't be bothered to part it, and is hoping someone does the work for him by buying it as is.

Since he then doesn't need the money, we have solved the riddle of why it won't sell. Seller doesn't need to sell and is happy to wait for the one in a million shot of someone who wants an RS4 exactly like this one. Makes sense.

I have a 997 turbo Techart edition.

But love the RS4 too much, purely for sound and power.

I will never get another one like it, hence not too fussed. Been parked for a while now, not getting used.

I just sold a 2007 saloon for 22k standard. So its a bargain considering what's on it.

The guy i sold the 1007 to said he will pay 12k to swap over and give standard parts in exchange, but not fitting.

Lets see...

Why didn't he buy the blue car instead of the standard one?
