Just a heads up, as tonight there is a three part series on the British Touring Car Championship over the last 50 years being shown on ITV4. I think it will be shown on the ITV player as well.
Can't wait for part 2 where they get into the 80's & 90's.

I enjoyed it.
They were proper racers giving their competitors respect and room, quite a contrast to the era of today where they just stuff it up the inside and hope for the best. I wonder if John Cleland started that?

Totally agree! It also seems that modern drivers are a one-man-team and give no credit nor acknowlege their technicians.

Great little program.
Shame they didn’t show more footage of the big ol’ muscle cars up against minis etc. Always found that amusing.
