Footers pm me about your S3....we have an A2 as our run around for the missus which we have taken a deposit on and is going shortly, the Golf R on order doesn't look like it will land until May so we need something, and yours looks lovely

Will do, most likely this weekend when I have the time to go and check the mileage etc and do a proper write-up. While she isn't perfect (driver's door plastic blade is coming away from the metal backing, need to remove and epoxy as Audi want silly money for them new, never hunted about due to what I was going through at the time of buying that car, interior rear right window surround was re-fluffed by the trader when I told him to fix it before buying, again, never got around to buying another), she is a very nice car. With the RS6 and the Cupra already taking up my attention as well as the two-Subaru debacle and as the S3 was the daily driver for woman, a couple of the little detail things mentioned above got overlooked by me for another day when I fancied doing them.

Other than that, those are the only negatives I can think of, she goes beautifully imo, as to be expected with one from my stable. Purchased in 12/2012 for £7k. £5800 paid by me in receipts for servicing, modding, parts, no expense spared as per usual. She is on about 82k miles if memory serves. This doesn't include costs for the bits below.

NOT INCLUDED in the sale currently, but I also have the RNS-E coming out of the RS4 that will getting an A3 fascia put on to it at some point, a brand new OE dual DIN fitting cage for inside the dash, and a fairly beaten up Dual Din climate control panel with the heated seat switches (this one has heated seats so had to have that, dual din-equipped A3's with heated seats are a rarer than hell option over here). The buttons from the current CC panel in there can be transplanted I believe. NHN is on the case to source the A3 RNS-E fascia when he is back in the country next.

In all honesty I don't know what to ask for her but I don't think it is unreasonable wanting back my original purchase price, leaving everything on there as is of course?

Thanks for the info....hmmmm, £7k might be a bit strong for us as we're only getting £4k for the A2 and didn't really want to put more ontop, but that's not me saying its not worth it as I'm sure it's been lavished. Will wait for the ad anyway . Cheers

I don't think that £4k will get you one of this age (2004), with this mileage or condition/or mods but good luck with your search. If I get the time I will be repairing the door blade before I put her up for sale but work is manic and I am going to be running the gaff solo next week....

Ha, I know, I wasn't expecting yours to be £4k, it's just how much more on top do we go...

Looking good, Footers.

The B7, like the C5, looks good as an Avant/Saloon IMO. I wish the C7 was a 'loon, would want one then, Avant looks alright but way too big for me.

It had to be a loon, either a C5 or B7, I didn't want two estates. If I end up with a loon replacing the C5 down the road, then the B7 will have to be swapped out for an estate to maintain order methinks.

I have been pricing up the MRC SC upgrade with the works stuck on for good measure and it is very, very tempting, no complaints from madam either.
