Getting excited but September is a long way off.... Plan decided; Saturday night and Wednesday night crossings for us

Yep, gonna do the Hull Rotterdam for that trip, out on the Sat crossing & back on the Wed crossing. If TF at Nordschleife on the Sunday we may make a sneaky stop off en route to Spa.

Hotel booked for 3 nights (Sun, Mon & Tues).

Just booked the Rad Blu for Sun through Wed & spotted a deal online.

The hotel wanted €430 for 3 nights B&B for 2 people in a twin room which i booked but then decided to check Trivago & found a pay now deal for close to £100 less so canned the Rad booking & swapped to Trivago although booking was actually with Booling.com. Now €336 for 3 nights B&B.

That rate doesn't include Brekkie Glen. The Hotel Advance purchase doesn't even let you select bedroom formation & i didn't fancy spooning Phil for 3 nights so wanted to make sure we got a twin. Brekkie is an extra €14 per night but according to the Rad website this can't be added to advance purchase (although you can of course pay locally) so is an extra €28 per night for a named room with Breakfast.

Defo includes breakfast, I know it doesn't say so but it is just a discounted early booking for the standard room. Look at that rate and you will see breakfast is included. It's exactly what I paid last year.

You can specify the room layout when booking, again this is what I did last year when I booked a single and a twin room.

Not that it matters if its the same price on Trivago anyway .

Just to put this to bed once and for all, I have just called the hotel reception . Seemed the logical next step!

If you book directly online using the advance saver at 112 Euro per night breakfast 100% included in that price. Straight from the horses mouth so to speak.

I don't think we get Geordie Shore over here (at least i hope we don't). We get Blackpool Rock;)

You gonna take the Newcastle crossing or head down to Hull for more of a giggle? Already looking forward to seeing how the M5 performs round Spa but need a couple of UK track days to aid my new car education before heading over to Belgium. Is gonna be very different on track to the GT-R or my previous RS's.

All run in & really enjoying it so far. Defo my favourite car to date as does everything perfectly which is what i was after.

Will be a little more of a handful on track me thinks than my previous motors but am looking forward to seeing what she can do. Ideally i'll try to get an Oulton Park &/or Donnington in as really don't fancy popping her track cherry in Spa as it will be more fun over there if i've already at least approached her limitations.

Keeping my eyes peeled for suitable dates in the Spring.
