They are called a flexi joint, think they were about £55 each, mine are the same as yours I.e not for road use. Just cut out the old ones and weld in the new.

Were the old ones cut out while the down pipes were on the car or did they have to come off first and what was the cost of fitting them and did you find a specialist to do it. I only ask as I ended up replacing the down pipe on mine but I suspect the other side will go at some point as it's starting to show signs of wear.

Took the dp's off to do the job. Easy for those of us who have straight pipes! Did it with one of my mates but can't see the cost being prohibitive. Took about 3 hrs.

Lets hope they put the air box on properly unlike my local Audi dealer.

Have to ask why you had her resprayed pink/orange?
