That pedal box is laughable. You need full on wonky legs/feet to drive it.

Well the 6 is delayed now not due to anything being done by audi. Seems 1 of the 2 new drive shafts fitted by an "audi specialist" have been cross threaded rendering them unusable and a new drive shaft is on back order from germany due for arrival Tuesday or Wednesday.
I am not a happy bunny at the mo!!!

How do you cross thread a driveshaft? It has a 6 bolt flange at one end and the CV joint at he other (which can be removed and changed accordingly)

I guess you could cross-thread a number of the 6 bolts (I'd defy anyone to cross-thread all 6, you'd have to be a fucken retarded <beep> down-syndrome monkey with brain-damage and no opposing thumbs). You need to remember who is reporting the cross-threaded drive-shaft...

Any half decent Garage would drill and tap the offending threads or put helicoils in surely.

Audi won't drill out anything, they have to get 'specialists' in! Shocked me when I had to wait 2 days for them to sort my car out, they aren't mechanics these days. I even said I'd sort it myself, but they wouldn't let me.

I think that's what was intended. Otherwise the comment wouldn't have been made.
