Some help needed

Post by Olly_K » Sat Dec 18, 2004 12:53 pm

Not serious, but I'm up my mum and dads and about to give her a wash so a quick response would be greatly recieved !

OK, for a while now the rear washer jet doesnt work. So i though i'd try and fix the problem today. Main bottle is topped up to the brim, when i press the rear washer jet i can hear the pump but no spray. It doesnt seem to be using any water from the bottle either, and there's no water on the floor. Is there another bottle i have to fill up or what ?

help !

many thanks

Jets are probably blocked, first thing would be to try clearing them with a pin. If that doesn't work see if you can disconnect the pipe from the jet and them try activating the raer wash again to see if the fliud is coming through. Mines a bit dodgy aswell, the jets dont seem to spay the top part of window so it only clears the bottom half of the stroke and smudges the top, been meaning to have a look myself to clear/re-adjust the jets.

Too much is bad.
Plenty is better.
