The tune2air needs power, I think the standard USB 5V. Does this setup have an iPod adapter (supplying power) or is it just a 3.5mm Aux-in? If it's just an Aux-in then you need to supply power.
I fitted a Kufatec Aux in my glovebox and bought a power harness to fit to the fuse panel from A2DP4Audi in the US. I bought the car, drove it for 5 days and then stored it for two months. When I tried to fit the power harness I realised the fuse panel was on the opposite side of the glovebox... :bash:
There is an excellent thread about BT streaming on here where I got all my info, I'll try to find it.

Tune2 air works on the AMI USB cable, but I don't know if it will work on the older Audi USB adapter.

Thanks I've seen this, I didn't think it would work with it, just wanted to check!

It will work as long as the iPod/iPhone connector has power to it.

I have an Aux-In and a power socket in my glove box. Got myself a 3.5mm Jack and USB to iPod/iPhone connector cable, USB power socket and tune2air Bluetooth adaptor. Plug it all together and it'll work. Tried plugging the tune2air adaptor in the iPod dock, which doesn't have power and it doesn't work.
